Hastelloy is a family of corrosion-resistant metal alloys primarily composed of nickel, with varying amounts of molybdenum and iron, and often including other elements such as cobalt or chromium. Hastelloy alloys are well-known for their exceptional resistance to strong oxidizing and reducing agents, making them highly suitable for chemical processing industries. They maintain excellent mechanical properties in high-temperature and high-stress environments, offering outstanding resistance to localized corrosion such as pitting and crevice attack. Hastelloy grades like C22, C276, B2, and B3 are widely used in applications involving harsh chemicals, marine environments, and high-performance equipment.
