Alloy Steel

Alloy Steel is a type of steel that has been alloyed with a variety of elements in total amounts between 1.0% and 50% by weight to improve its mechanical properties. These alloying elements—such as manganese, chromium, nickel, molybdenum, vanadium, and silicon— enhance hardness, toughness, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and strength at elevated temperatures. Alloy steel products are widely used in applications that demand superior durability, heat resistance, and performance under high stress, making them ideal for industries like oil & gas, power generation, petrochemical, automotive, and construction. By adjusting the chemical composition and heat treatment process, alloy steels can be tailored to meet specific performance requirements for a wide range of critical applications.
